Black Players for Change is thrilled to announce the launch of Hometown Heroes 2024, an annual event celebrating local community leaders, activists, and changemakers. This year coincides with the 2024 MLS All-Star game, on July 23, 2024.

BPC and Intentionalist are joining forces to collaborate beyond the soccer field. They aim to leverage BPC's influence within select markets to actively support Black-owned small businesses.

New policy, jointly agreed upon by MLS and its players, to put restorative practices at the heart of efforts to eradicate racial and discriminatory incidents from the game – a first in sports.

Celebrate Black History Month with U.S. Soccer! A portion of proceeds from the purchases of Black History Month product will be donated to Black Players For Change and Black Women’s Player Collective, both initiatives supported by U.S. Soccer.

2023 All-Star Hometown Heroes were announced. This honor recognizes the work of impactful organizations and leaders who are making positive change in the communities of the District of Columbia and that embody D.C. United’s community values of Empowerment, Opportunity, and Service.

Black Players for Change (BPC), Black Women’s Player Collective (BWPC), adidas, Musco Lighting, and the U.S. Soccer Foundation are extending their partnership and will create 10 more mini-pitches by the end of 2023. The new mini-pitches will be installed in the Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City, Miami, and Portland, OR markets.
