Black Players for Change (BPC), Major League Soccer (MLS), and adidas have teamed up to commemorate Juneteenth with a powerful collaboration that honors the holiday's significance, celebrates players as agents of change, and unites the soccer community around the ongoing pursuit of equality.

2023 All-Star Hometown Heroes were announced. This honor recognizes the work of impactful organizations and leaders who are making positive change in the communities of the District of Columbia and that embody D.C. United’s community values of Empowerment, Opportunity, and Service.

Black Players for Change (BPC), Black Women’s Player Collective (BWPC), adidas, Musco Lighting, and the U.S. Soccer Foundation are extending their partnership and will create 10 more mini-pitches by the end of 2023. The new mini-pitches will be installed in the Chicago, Cleveland, Kansas City, Miami, and Portland, OR markets.
