Human Rights Day: Water Equity and Affordability Campaign

Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024In support of Human Rights Day, Black Players for Change member Miles Robinson and Executive Director Emeritus Justin Morrow teamed up with Sport for Impact and The Water Hub to shed light on the important message about water equity and affordability.

Nine in 10 U.S. voters agree that water is a human right. But for too many families in America, safe and affordable water is out of reach. Millions live without running water or rely on water contaminated with lead and harmful chemicals.

But there's been progress. Historic water infrastructure funding is making a difference for safe drinking water, and for some, delivering water to taps for the very first time. We need to keep the momentum going and continue to call for sustained federal investments, now and into the future.

Join us in the fight for Safe Affordable Water.
