
The Third Rail is teaming up with Sean Johnson and Black Players for Change to launch it’s first BPC MINI-PITCH SOCCER TOURNAMENT.
This 5v5 tournament for local boys and girls will take place on July 1st on the BPC mini-pitch at the Brigadier General Charles Young Playground in Harlem. Opened last year on Juneteenth, this mini-pitch was a collaboration between Black Players for Change (BPC), Black Women’s Player’s Collective (BWPC) and the New York City Soccer Initiative.
The winners of this BPC Mini-Pitch Tournament will receive match tickets and a VIP experience to the NYCFC match on Sunday July 3rd vs Atlanta United.
Along with the tournament, the playground will feature a climbing wall, a NYPD games van, food & drink for the players and their families as well as a table from the local community with giveaways.

REGISTRATION: The tournament will be open registration for local 3rd to 5th graders. Just show up Friday morning at the playground by 10am to play. Kids can come as a team or as individuals to be placed on a team.
